Why we exist.

Anti-queer narrative, as a colonial tool, was designed to erase our culture, divide our people and blur our identities. Unfortunately, after decades of independence, the hate persists.

Our goal is to eliminate this and restore, develop and advance this non-normative and heterogenous understanding of love and personhood; in-line with our liberation from caste, creed and class barriers.

It is our understanding that western queer identities can never fully encompass the complexities of the South Asian indigenous queer experience. So we must document and immortalise our own stories and design theory which speaks to us.

We must decolonize our minds.

What we do.

We curate, organise, analyse and publish queer feminist theory with a goal to:

1. Further develop South Asian queer theory,
2. Study the various intersections of decolonial theory and queer political identity,
3. Raise awareness and rally for human rights.

South Asia here includes India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal.

We are inviting volunteers!

  1. Queer people and allies from South Asia (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal)
  2. as writers, editors, multimedia artists, or anyone else who wishes to lend their time and talent to the cause
  3. is warmly invited to get in touch on connect.pnpcol@gmail.com anytime!
